To enable the flow realtime data and reduce manual work, we've introduced our Zapier integration with ARIVE! We built an integration which is both easy to set up, and maintenance-free by the broker.

Once configured, ARIVE will automatically send the loan data present in the application when the loan status is updated. We recommend making sure your loan data is as accurate as possible at all times to ensure the best experience in EpochOS. This may require coaching of your origination & operations staff to ensure data integrity.

Below are the prerequisites and instructions on how to set up the integration for your company.

Prerequisites

ARIVE: Pro or Non-Delegated Correspondent plan for access to their Zapier integration.

Zapier: Professional Plan or above for access to "Premium Apps" as we use the Webhooks by Zapier app.

Instructions

These instructions assume you've already configured the ARIVE app within Zapier. If this is your first time using Zapier with ARIVE, go to Company Settings > Integrations within ARIVE for their API keys and to add their app to your Zapier account.

Step 1: Create Zap

Step 2: Select ARIVE as the "Trigger" app

Step 3: Select the "Loan Status Updated in ARIVE" trigger event, and make sure your ARIVE account is selected.

Step 4: Click Continue, then "Test trigger". This will pull through 3 of the most recently updated loans within ARIVE. Choose one of these loans, then click "Continue with selected record".

It is preferred you select a loan in Submitted to UW status or later, so you can confirm the integration is working properly. Any loans in a prior status could cause an "Error 400: Bad Request" when testing our step later.

Step 5: Now you'll select the Action app, which is Webhooks by Zapier.

Step 6: For the Action event, select POST. Then click Continue.

Step 7: In the URL field, enter https://api.epochos.com/api/Arive/LoanStatusUpdated. Under payload type, select JSON. Lastly, in the Headers section, you'll type API-KEY in the first text box. In the second text box, you'll enter the API key found in the Integrations page within EpochOS. Then click Continue.

Step 8: Now you'll test the Zap by clicking "Test step". As a reminder, if the test loan Zapier pulled is in a status prior to Submitted to UW, it may throw an error here. You can ignore the error and click "Skip test" then "Publish". This will make the Zap active. If you did not receive an error and the loan is in a Submitted to UW status or later, it should now show in the Loans page within EpochOS. If so, congratulations - ARIVE is now connected to EpochOS and you can skip the next step!

Step 9 (optional): This step is only suggested if you received an error on the prior step. Go into ARIVE, and open any loan file in Submitted to UW status or later. Next, go to the Audit & Dates screen. Once in Audit & Dates, select the Edit link in the Loan Milestones date section. Select the date next to the status the loan is currently in, when the pop up opens, click Save & Continue. This will force a Zap to fire from ARIVE. Now go back into EpochOS and the loan should be present in the Loans page.
